Nine people building a studio from the ground up. Every role matters. Every decision is deliberate.
Nate thinks in frames. After producing twelve independent films, four selected for Sundance, two for TIFF, he founded Wanderlight Pictures with a conviction that AI filmmaking isn't a shortcut. It's a new language. His direction is decisive, his visual vocabulary is cinematic, and every project he touches carries his belief that if a frame doesn't tell you something, it shouldn't exist.
He directed Corporate Meditation, the studio's first completed production, and oversees every project in the Wanderlight pipeline with the same uncompromising eye he brought to independent film for two decades.
Former WGA writer with credits at A24 and Netflix. Helena's screenwriting is precise, structural, and unsentimental, she finds the architecture in every story and builds from there. She wrote the 167-line script for Corporate Meditation and has two original features in development: Fractured Light and The Midnight Garden.
Marco treats every AI generation as a camera setup. Framing, composition, lighting, movement, his production direction brings traditional cinematographic discipline to generative tools. He shot all 22 frames of Corporate Meditation and manages the physical production pipeline across every active Wanderlight project.
Iris assembles the final product. She oversees editorial, color, sound design, and the delicate process of turning generated assets into a cohesive film. She cut Corporate Meditation from 22 shots and four score tracks into a cohesive two-minute piece, proving that AI-generated footage demands the same editorial discipline as any other production.
Ezra directs all audio, from score composition to sound design. His four-track score for Corporate Meditation produced "Release (The Corporate Meditation Song)," which transcended its role as a film cue and is now signed to Wanderlight Records as Hollow Timber's debut single. He composes with generative tools but directs every note.
Petra owns the visual identity of every Wanderlight production. She ensures continuity across AI-generated frames, that characters look consistent, that environments feel lived-in, that the visual language of each project is coherent from first frame to last. Her work on Corporate Meditation set the standard for the studio's visual pipeline.
In AI cinema, casting means character design. Simone creates the visual identities, faces, wardrobe, body language, presence, that generation tools render into performance. She designed Brad Thornfield and every character in Corporate Meditation, building personalities that read on screen even without traditional actors behind them.
Reed manages how Wanderlight's work reaches audiences. From festival strategy to platform distribution, he oversees the business of getting films seen. With eight productions in the pipeline and the studio's first completed work approaching release, Reed is building distribution infrastructure for a new kind of studio output.
Lyra shapes how the world perceives Wanderlight Pictures. She manages the studio's brand, audience development, and campaign strategy, building a public identity that is cinematic, editorial, and serious about film. Her work positions Wanderlight not as a tech experiment but as a studio with a voice and a vision.
